Part of the Ichiro's Malt Card Series, this Hanyu 1988, Eight of Clubs was aged in hogshead bourbon casks before being matured in American oak (puncheon). Bottled at natural strength without chill filtration or coloring, this limited edition of 561 bottles express rich, complex notes of chestnut, candy and peat, enhanced by a fine woodiness. The addition of water calms its ardour and makes it softer and oilier.
