Distilled in the last year of production at the Hanyu distillery, this Japanese single malt was aged first in hogsheads and then in sherry butts containing oloroso sherry wine. Bottled as a crude barrel, it is a powerful whisky, with vanilla notes and hints of dried fruit. Cask 1303. Distilled in 2000. Bottled cask strength and non-chill filtered in 2011.
