Coming from a single beehour, this expression of the great Japanese single malt Karuizawa aged 28. Put in a bottle without cold filtering, and without reduction, it is a round whisky, whose nose is marked by classic notes for aging in a barrel of sherry - peanut, caramel, salted butter - but also of a very ripe apple. In the mouth it seems more structured, with a beautiful woody and a character closer to a whisky aged in bourbon barrels than in sherry barrels. A melted and greedy expression.
